President: Stephanie Souza
Q: What’s your favorite part about being in Bobcats of Rock?
A: My favorite part about being with Bobcats of Rock is getting the opportunity to perform my original songs with a band.
Q: Does your club participate in any activities outside the classroom?
A: Right now our club is only participating in things inside of school, but a couple of us in the club are involved in bands outside of school and perform outside of school as well.
Q: How might this club help your career?
A: This club will definitely help my career because no matter what I choose to do , it will without a doubt involve music. So this is great practice.
Q: When are your meetings?
A: We have to different groups (bands) in our club, one is the Beatles band and they meet on Wednesdays during lunch to rehearse. The other band does about everything else (rock music) and we meet every Thursday during lunch. Also depending on how prepared we are we have some extra rehearsals occasionally.
Q: What’s the average agenda like for meetings?
A: During meetings we rehearse the song ideas that we decided to do.
Q: Are there any future goals or plans for the club?
A: Future goals for this club would be to branch out of just performing at school.
Q: What kind of student would you recommend joining your club?
A: I recommend anyone with a love of music especially of the rock genre and plays an instrument. Even if someone does not have that much of an interest in rock music it still is great practice.
