Varsity
Troubles continue to plague Varsity as they won just two of their nine games in April and now stand 2-15 overall and 2-2 in league. The first five games were at home and all four were losses to San Marcos (15-2), La Jolla (20-2), Carlsbad (19-2), and El Camino (12-10). On the 20th they defeated Fallbrook 13-2 which ended a 10 game losing streak. Since that win, they have won just one of their past six games, in which all loses were by four goals or more with the exception of an 8-6 loss on the 28th against Ramona. Their other win in this rough stretch of April came against Valley Center on the 25th, when the won 11-2. Just two games remain left in this long and difficult season.
JV
With one game left in the season, JV has come back and now stands 4-6 overall and 2-0 in league play. April initially treated them poorly as San Marcos, La Jolla, and Carlsbad defeated them on the 7th, 12th, and 13th. Their passing around the goal was not nearly as accurate and active as it normally is and their defense struggled to intercept any throws. Beyond those games, they ended April 3-0 with wins against El Camino on the 18th (8-2), Fallbrook on the 20th (8-7), and Ramona on the 28th. Their last game is tomorrow on the road against SDA. Wish them luck
