For over sixty years, San Diego has been known for its beatiful yearly display of flowers, covering over fifty acres of Carlsbads rolling hills. The Flower Fields are open from March 1st through May 8th every day from 9am to 6pm. The flower fields display various types of Tecolote Ranunculus flowers; all breathtaking and beautiful colors. A depiction of the American Flag is even displayed out of beautifuly blossomed red, white, and blue flowers.
Wagon Rides are offered for $ 3.00-$5.00 to give a mobile tour of the fields as they frequently stop for pictures and provide history of the flower fields.
