Prepare for tears!! Of course, you have to be ready for the emotional flood whenever you walk into a Nicholas Sparks movie. Our adorable main characters, Travis and Gabby, meet each other as rival neighbors, both trying to find success in their own very different lifestyles. But over time, and thanks to a few obviously very urgent dog visits from vet Travis, the two youngins grow together. Their love story is a dream with a happy ending. . . until it's not. Because when has Sparks given any of his lovebirds a sweet and easy adventure? Disaster strikes, in both lightning and heartbreaking accidents. It doesn't look like the love between Travis and Gabby can survive the forces of cars speeding in the rain. . . or will it? Guess you'll have to go find out!
I loved this movie! I went to see it with my good friend and we both ended up sobbing not so quietly into our shirts. The family tragedies always get me! Although cliche, the movie proves to be touching enough to yank on the heartstrings. The Choice is even said to be "the best Nicholas Sparks movie so far!" So go and enjoy the emotional roller coaster (and don't forget tissues!) as you experience the love story of a carefree vet and a determined med student.
