I would love to welcome Mrs. Myers back to Sage Creek as she has been away on maternity leave, caring for the newest member of the Bobcat family, William Myers. I hope that Mrs. Myers has a good rest of the year and that she has another group of wonderful students again.
Q: What is it like working at Sage Creek?
A:I love the camaraderie of the staff. We genuinely enjoy working with each other, which I think improves the way we teach and interact with students. I also enjoy working with our students. We have a great group of students who work hard and care about others.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: I enjoy watching students discover their potential, be it in their writing, analysis, or overall understanding of life in general. I appreciate my students' honesty and perspective on life.
Q: What do you want students to take out of your class?
A: I want students to be confident in their potential in the English discipline. I want them to have a concrete depth of experience in reading, writing, and oral communication, and I want them to be able to connect it to the world around them.
Q: What makes you a unique teacher?
A: I'm really passionate about my students and their success. At a place like Sage Creek that is, fortunately, not all that unique, but it is true about me. I constantly think about and dream up ways to be a better teacher and connect students to the curriculum in a meaningful way. I look forward to coming to work!
