And with the conclusion of last week's loss to Christian HS, the varsity season is over. Sage Creek's women put it all on the line in their final 4 games against Vista, El Camino, Escondido Academy, and Christian, but fell just a bit short. They lost 3 of their final 4 games, placing them with an ending league record of 1-9 and an overall record of 15-19. Although the team was not able to win CIF's which they impressively did last year to become the first team to earn Sage Creek a banner, they did achieve some fairly impressive statistics as a whole. The biggest win streak last year was 5 and this year it was 6. In addition to that, last year's longest losing streak was 7 and this year's was 6. Aside from the intense dedication and commitment to effort and the matches, Lizi Cudal, Corinna Bray, and Riley Gill had stand out seasons, as they all rose above the national rankings attack percentage, offensive kills, set points, and kills per set.
