Advisor: Valerie Park
President: Nicole Morrison
We interviewed Ms. Morisson to get the inside scoop on the Craft Club ;)
Q: What’s your favorite part about being in Craft Club?
A: "I get to hang out out with some awesome people, and each session we get to make a different craft that I get to take home."
Q: Does your club participate in any activities outside the classroom?
A: "We are always involved in the ASB events, such as Club Carnival and the Hoopcoming Parade, but other than that not really."
Q: How might this club help you career?
A: "Craft Club allows you to express your creativity and it can show you what a positive impact that hour break from school, and responsibilities can have on your attitude."
Q: When are your meetings?
A: "Every other Wednesday in Mrs.Park's room from 2:30-3:30."
Q: What’s the average agenda like for meetings?
A: "We will usually sit down and I will explain the craft for the week. We will then start setting up the supplies and getting to work. At 3:30 the goal is for the craft to be done and finished!"
Q: Are there any future goals or plans for the club?
A: "Craft Club would eventually like to host craft fairs and involve more students in the club. We do have a plan to design ugly sweaters for the next winter which will be sold to help raise money for supplies."
Q: What kind of student would you recommend joining your club?
A: "Anyone interested in crafting, we take in to account all levels and make sure the crafts are neither too difficult nor too boring."
So if you're fun and creative, this is the club for you! Check it out at the upcoming Club Carnival!
